i am looking into ways to cut things out and have a little more time for my family...instead of cutting out the work i am doing, i realize i can just cut out the media i am trying to keep going for it.  so this blog is going to be ingnored for now :)

pillow project

i was give the gift of 6 paper bags (the kind with handels, the big ones:)) FILLED with fabrics!!  i laid them all out and color coordinated them into two clear rubbermaids...beautiful!
while siftting through i found some that looked great in my livingroom (did i mention the piles grew on the floor in the livingroom?)  so i set out to recover some of my pillows, YAY!

i know that i have been talking a little about this, been working with a wonderful lady for a logo (see above) and from that all the branding is beginning, YIKES!  super excited!!  so take a look and let me know what you think!

routine

with school starting (homeschool at our house), sports, ballet, studies, etc. that run on a school year...the routine begins.  when i get to this point in the year, i look at routine as a bummer.  the summer is wonderful with my family!  the calender is overwhelming and the "regular job" of each day is tough to swallow...BUT once we get into it, i really feel like routine is a wonderful thing.  it gets us all moving, a focus surrounds are days, and things just get accomplished.  by the end of the year we do enjoy a break for the summer, a lighter load, nowhere to be, sleep ins, etc.
this said...we are easing into our first week of routine, next week will be easier and by the end i'll be back into it.  i am a type A after all, so it really is my thing ;)
blogging will come back more too!  i was thinking that i would like to try for a post a week...work up to a twice a week routine...well, we'll see ;)
